Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics will be exhibiting at IMHX 2025, from 9–11 September at the NEC Birmingham. As the UK’s leading intralogistics trade show, IMHX brings together the businesses that keep supply chains moving. For Hydraquip, it’s an opportunity to connect directly with the engineers, site managers, and procurement teams who need fast, dependable hydraulic hose repair to keep their operations running.
Our focus is clear, 24/7 emergency mobile hydraulic hose repairs, delivered nationwide by trained engineers. When a hose fails, our priority is minimising downtime. IMHX gives us the platform to show how our rapid response, technical accuracy, and Job Manager technology support high-pressure logistics and transport environments.
What to Expect at Stand F87
Visiting Hydraquip at IMHX is a chance to speak directly with some of the expert team. We’ll walk you through how our service works, the areas we cover, and why reliability matters when dealing with hydraulic failures in operational environments.
Our Job Manager system will be on show, demonstrating how it supports the full lifecycle of a repair, from booking to completion. Built for engineers and site teams for out of hour emergencies, it streamlines communication, provides live updates, and ensures full traceability.
Meet Johnny 5 – Live at IMHX
This year, we’re joined by a unique guest, a life-size, fully operational Johnny 5 robot, inspired by the iconic 1980s film Short Circuit. The Johnny 5 appearing at the show is the first hand-built replica created in the UK, and he’s even more advanced than the original film versions.
Ryan, the owner, hand-machined and fabricated every part in his garage using the original drawings. With a background as a forklift engineer at Linde and as a long-standing Hydraquip customer in Nottingham, he’s brought Johnny 5 to life in an incredible way.
Johnny 5 will be at Stand F87 throughout the event. It’s your chance to see a one-of-a-kind build in action, talk hydraulics with our team, and capture a photo with one of cinema’s most recognisable robots.
Launching Our Flexi-Compact Hose
IMHX 2025 also marks the launch of Hydraquip’s Flexi-Compact Hose, developed to meet growing demand for enhanced flexibility and easier installation in confined or hard-to-reach spaces.
Designed for medium-pressure hydraulic lines (110 to 290 bar), the hose’s compact outer diameter and high flexibility make it ideal for use with petroleum, synthetic, or water-based fluids. It’s designed for forklift operations but is also perfectly suited to agricultural, construction, and material handling machinery.
Key Benefits – PH296 Flexi-Compact Hose:
- Optimised for forklift hose applications
- Compact and flexible design
- Abrasion-resistant outer cover
- Pressure rated up to 290 bar
- Reinforced with single steel wire braid
- Temperature range: -40°C to +100°C (intermittent +120°C)
- Available DN sizes: 05 | 06 | 08 | 10 | 12
Visitors to Stand F87 will be able to see the new hose first-hand, discuss applications with our engineers, and learn how it can improve installation and performance in demanding environments.
