Oil Analysis

Oil Sampling & Full Laboratory Analysis Report

Oil used in hydraulic machinery is often overlooked as a potential for failure. Hydraquip offer a number of sampling options as part of a preventative maintenance program, towards reducing the potential for failure and also in identifying the likely cause of contamination which can allow for an organised response in curing the fault. As many components are bespoke and not off the shelf items any advanced warning will assist keeping downtime to a minimum thus reducing breakdown costs significantly.

FROM £55 Our Engineer Will Attend Site To Take A Sample

For £55.00 an engineer will attend your site if within one hour travel of any of our branches to take an oil sample.

FROM £35 Additional Samples Whilst On Site

While on site our engineer can take additional samples at £35.00 each for a further individual report.

Oil Sampling Benefits

  • Development of more efficient maintenance strategies
  • Reduce number of failures
  • Extend oil drain intervals
  • Improve equipment efficiency and reduce energy wastage
  • Decrease equipment downtime

Hydraquip’s trained engineers adhere to the latest industry standards to ensure the oil samples have correctly and safely been extracted. The result and accuracy of the sample is only as good as the sample provided.

Laboratory Report

An oil analysis report is then available within 7 working days. The report will identify any early signs of contamination, fluid degradation and abnormal wear before causing any costly or permanent damage to your equipment. The report will look into the properties of the oil to monitor if the lubricant has reached a point at which it is no longer serviceable and when the customer can schedule in a change of oil within its machinery. Hydraquip’s experts will look to identify the cause of contamination and will advise of this prior to replacing the oil.

To book call our service centre on 0345 812 0212 or for technical questions on oil sampling call 0191 414 2491 or your normal Hydraquip branch/contact.

This report shows the level of contamination present with any discoveries helping to lead to finding the cause and in turn a solution for an impending problem.

This report shows an example of a good oil analysis report with information of any factors to be mindful of.
