Bosphorus is a clear wire reinforced PVC hose that is very versatile. Manufactured using non-toxic clear PVC compound, it can be used in many industrial and hygienic applications.
Being transparent, Bosphorus allows operatives to observe flow of product through the hose unlike opaque PVC or rubber products.
It features a high tensile embedded steel helix which gives Bosphorus mechanical strength in full vacuum applications and an excellent resistance to kinking on tight bend radius applications.
The steel helix allows for the hose to be knocked back into shape if it is accidentally crushed. The helix can also be used to earth the hose, giving it electrical continuity; very important when conveying plastic pellets or granules.
EU No 10/2011 ( Class A,B,C,D1) approved for food contact applications including:
Mineral Water, Fruit juice, Soda, Syrups, Cider, Beer, Wine, Spirits & Liquors (50%), Molasses, Jam, Milk and Vinegar.
Suitable for suction and delivery of water, alcohol, fruit juice, liquids, granules, pellets wherever visibility of conveyant is an advantage
