Hydraquip have invested in a £2m project with Rossetts Mercedes-Benz along with Bott to commission 50 new mobile service vans during 2023, bringing the total to 150.
Hydraquips Regional Director Jeff Coulson said “This order shows our commitment to expanding our service offering throughout the UK to become the largest provider of onsite services. Our relationship with Mercedes is a strong one and to use a premium brand within our first in class service is important. Our customers rely on availability and the Mercedes quality supports this.”
The first Mercedes Sprinter vans rolled off the production line at the beginning of February and have started to be delivered throughout our network of branches. The project brings together Rossetts Mercedes-Benz and Bott who collaborate to equip state-of-the-art Mercedes vans with everything they need to keep customers on-site operations running. Each Mercedes Sprinter van is over 6m in length and weights over 3.5T, they are fitted with a 150bhp engine which produces over 250lb torque so are suited for on-site work across the country.

A significant investment from the company that will enable them to continue to offer the best customer service using the latest Mercedes-Benz vehicles with state-of-the-art conversions carried out by Bott. It was my pleasure to meet with some of the Hydraquips management team and Jodie from Bott, at Botts headquarters in Ashby-De-La-Zouch to see the finishing touches being added to the first builds of 2023. Bott fit out each van with the latest workshop equipment & storage solutions to ensure our expert team of engineers can fix each breakdown in the shortest time possible. The van fitting also has our engineers well-being in mind, with an ergonomic workspace, all health & safety equipment and power-saving internal & external LED lighting.
Botts account manager Jodie Rudkin said “I have worked with Mark and the team at Hydraquip for over 3 years, and it has been a pleasure to supply them with quality vehicle workspace equipment. In this time we have built up a great working relationship, with many improvements made to help support their fleet, including making them lighter in weight, as well as supplying and fitting Hydraquip with their livery and Chapter 8 compliant chevrons to allow them to work on sites around the country. I look forward to supporting in growing their fleet, kitted out with bott conversions”.
Bott, who are located in Ashby – Leicester, also add the iconic Hydraquip livery – an operation which takes around 4 weeks on receipt of each van.
Hydraquips fleet coordinator Mark Neale said “We’ve placed our biggest mobile service van order to date. 50 new service vans will be distributed throughout England, Wales and Scotland.

We have over 18 years of working collaboratively with Bott Ltd. who fully custom fit our vans with a newly featured lightweight Vario 3 racking which carries our product range of Manuli hose & fittings”
