Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics, the UK’s largest independent hose replacement provider are off to a flying start with the opening of their Hose & Hydraulics branch in Cannock, Staffordshire.
Based in central England, the branch is situated on the popular Watling Street Business Park, which is prominently located fronting the busy A5, South Staffordshire’s main arterial route, linking the East and West Midlands conurbations. The new Cannock branch is conveniently situated for the M6 Toll Road, Junction T6 Burntwood and Churchbridge Interchange Junction T7, together with junctions 11 and 12 of the M6 approximately 4 and 5 miles distant respectively.
Duncan MacBain, Managing Director of the Hydraquip Group comments, “The opening of our Cannock branch is another big step in strengthening our presence and coverage in the prime central area of England.” The new Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics Cannock branch will see the growth of its 24/7 on site hydraulic hose repair network which will offer significant improvements to their response times across the Midlands. Offering hydraulic repairs in Cannock and the surrounding areas: Derbyshire, Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Lincolnshire.
Pete Russell who joined Hydraquip in May 2015, having worked for Pirtek York, Wolverhampton and Medway branches, has been appointed as the Area Sales Manager of Cannock. He says, “It has been a fantastic opportunity to be involved in setting up a new branch. Plans are already in place to grow our customer base within the area and more engineers on the roads will see a reduction in response call out times”. Nathan Ward, an engineer at Hydraquip who previously worked as a Branch Manager for Pirtek Kidderminster in 2010 has been promoted to Branch Manger working alongside Pete and a growing number of engineers based at the Hydraquip Cannock branch.
Hydraquip’s new Cannock branch offers a comprehensive range of over 50,000+ fluid power components including pneumatic components, industrial hose and fittings, hydraulic hose and fittings, quick release couplings, hose reels, tube, valves and pumps, with comprehensive stocks of hydraulic and engine oils, including oil dispensing equipment. Many of these items are available over the counter or delivered to you within 24 hours. In addition to this, the new fully kitted hydraulic trade counter offers an instant one to one service, the in house resources allow Hydraquip to provide an over the counter service to customers requiring a pattern hose assembly manufactured whilst they wait, with dedicated assembly production facilities which allow the branch to manufacture a one off hydraulic hose or high volumes of hydraulic hose assemblies.
