Texas 10 S&D is a smooth cover hard wall suction and delivery ( S&D) hose suitable for oils, fuels and hydrocarbons with an aromatic content of 50%
Manufactured using a conductive special NBR blend on the cover and liner, Texas 10 will withstand oils and fuels both insode and outside the hose.
High tensile steel helix gives good flexibility, mechanical strength and a full vacuum rating for oil suction applications
Texas 10 also features an embedded copper wire which can be earther to give the assembly full electrical continuity.
Available in a wide range of bore sizes including several non-standard sizes e.g. 57mm and 60mm
Supplied in coils > 61m ( depending on bore size)
Can be supplied as assemblies to customers specific requirements with professionally fitted BSP, URT, Leverlock/ Bauer, Flanged or Camlock type fittings. Contact the CH&C team with your requirements.
Widely used as an R4 type oil return hose in the hydraulics sector.
Suitable for suction and delivery of most petroleuem, unleaded fuel > 50% aromatic content , industrial oil, diesel, fuel, kerosene and many mineral oil based hydraulic oils.
Tube: Oil and petrol resistant, conductive synthetic nitrile black rubber
Reinforcement: High tensile synthetic textile, steel wire helix and anti-static copper wire
Cover: Oil, weather, ozone, abrasion and sea water resistant, special synthetic rubber
Application: Suction & delivery for filling and discharging tanks, petrol tankers and ships with unleaded fuels (EN228:2017) with an aromatic content of components 50% max
