Made with the strongest design possible and able to handle a wide selection of containers, the bin lift systems are manufactured to integrate seamlessly with telematics and reporting systems. More recently, some of Terberg’s bin lift systems have been designed to be low voltage and electric, reducing fuel consumption by up to 14% whilst also offering a significant noise reduction, especially for residential areas.

For recyclable materials, biowaste, animal by-products and more recently, food waste, Terberg offer kerbside sorts and bring scheme methods. Terberg’s Toploader range of vehicles allow for low, high and mixed density waste in restricted, urban and rural areas with up to 6 recyclable collection types in one vehicle. Each vehicle is fitted with specialised equipment such as fully constrained guide wheels, automatic lids, anti-tamper detection, anti-shake control systems and in-cab controls allowing for a smooth operation of machinery and protection to the vehicles. Hydraquip’s hydraulic service engineers across the UK have a wealth of experience and knowledge of working on an extensive range of equipment and machinery, enabling them to complete 99% of jobs there and then. The system operates seamlessly with their bin lifting and side loading collection equipment weighing contents from as little as 0.5kg making it ideal for high volume, low density recycling such as plastic, cans and milk cartons. Available for trade and domestic bin collections and compatible with European standard transponders, real time GPS track and trace data can be recorded on Terberg’s Vehicle Data Hub in order to improve collection times and search for previous job details on their database.

As a forward thinking company, Terberg are designing a fully integrated electric refuse collection vehicle known as the Ecollect which will offer zero emissions and will be 100% electric. Production of the Ecollect will begin at the end of 2019 offering environmentally friendly vehicles across the UK and overseas. Hydraquip’s pro-active approach allows them to move forward with modern technology ensuring that all of their engineers are trained to current industry standards and are fully equipped to achieve a solution for any breakdown, with additional training also given where required.
