Known as an ultra runner, endurance athlete and a charity fundraiser, Nick Butter has set himself the ultimate challenge to break a world record by running a marathon in all of the 196 countries in the world to raise £250,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.
Managing Director of The Hydraquip Group, Duncan MacBain, was so inspired by Nick Butter’s challenge that not only is Hydraquip sponsoring his cause, Duncan has set his 380 staff a goal to get involved in the aid to encourage PSA checks for all staff aged 40 and over, to promote a healthy lifestyle and to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

If a Hydraquip employee runs a 5K park run between the 6th January 2018 till the 10th July 2019, Hydraquip will donate £25 to Nick’s cause to help him reach his target of £250K for Prostate Cancer UK.
You can walk, jog or run your park run. You can organise this yourself and decide the time, date and where you would like to do this. All you have to do is register at www.parkrun.org.uk and once you have completed your 5k park run email your documentation to run5k@hydraquip.co.uk
