Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics are pleased to announce they have purchased the assets of Newport Fluid Power on the 30th August 2019. The purchase includes the premises and two mobile service vans which will see Hydraquip operate from four locations in Wales, Llandudno Junction, Newport, Swansea and Wrexham.

Newport Fluid Power

Leon started Newport Fluid Power in 2004 after previously working within the hydraulics industry with Pirtek Newport and Turner Hydraulics. His continuous efforts and customer focus, along with passion and drive saw the company establish a loyal customer base in a very competitive area. Achieved through dedication and providing a consistent and high level of customer service.

Simmons has joined the team as South Wales Regional Manager. Alongside both Service Engineers, Leon and the team bring with them a wealth of experience to Hydraquip. What’s more will ensure Newport Fluid Power’s existing customer base will benefit from being part of a Group as Hydraquip will continue to provide a continuity of service and will react immediately should any critical breakdowns occur. Also, Hydraquip’s focus is on expanding its customer base within the Newport area as a further two vans are added to the fleet offering a 24/7 national breakdown service.

Hydraquip Newport operate from a modern industrial unit which is situated 14 miles east of Cardiff and approximately 31 miles west of Bristol. Besides, the location provides easy access to the city centre and has good transport links. Additionally, being close to the Southern Distributor Road provides access to the M4 motorway at Junctions 24 and 28.

Futhermore, Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics Newport branch will operate full national coverage. Firstly, providing an on site emergency hose replacement service across South Wales. Focus is on offering significant improvements to response times. As they continue to focus on their ongoing expansion plans by growing the engineering team. Also alongside Hydraquip’s Job Manager which allows customers to book and track their service jobs online. Secondly, the team at Newport offer a comprehensive range of over 60,000+ fluid power components. In brief offering pneumatic components, industrial hose and fittings, hydraulic hose and fittings, quick release couplings, hose reels, tube, valves and pumps, with comprehensive stocks of hydraulic and engine oils, including oil dispensing equipment. These items are available over the counter or can be delivered to you within 24 hours.
