Job Manager Book & Track Your Service JobHydraquip’s Job Manager is targeted at providing local and national customers an efficient and effective service which allows customers to book breakdown jobs online, along with real time status updates in 4 simple statuses: Job Processing, Engineer Travelling To Site, Engineer On Site & Job Completed. Simplifying the process for our customers from the start of a job all the way through to the completion with the benefit of electronic job sheets turned around and sent to customers within a target time of 1 hour.

The automation of information through the Hydraquip Job Manager using the latest Android Technology allocates service jobs straight into the engineers’ hands, enabling Hydraquip’s engineers to respond to jobs with honest and accurate ETA’s and easily add components into the hand held device whilst on site. This is supported with fresh from site before and after pictures transmitted back to Hydraquip’s Service Centre. All electronic job sheets are sent to customers within 1hr of job completion to provide them with the opportunity to better understand the cause of a hydraulic failure and allocate costs accordingly.

Hydraquip’s online Job Manager can be used to simply book and track service jobs on all platforms, from computers and laptops to mobile devices. Hydraquip’s National Account Manager Jay MacBain said, “The main driving force has been listening to what customers felt would be beneficial to their company, from the processes involved from the start of a job to the approval of the invoice, which saw the introduction of Hydraquip’s Job Manager.” MacBain added, “The time saved enables our nationwide fleet of engineers to develop and concentrate on providing faster response times and improving on our high customer service levels. The pilot introduced in November 2015 showed a remarkable impact on both the engineers’ and the company’s efficiency and brought in the simplification of the whole process from a customer’s point of view.”

Hydraquip have now fully introduced the Job Manager across its growing number of one hundred hydraulic service engineers nationwide, who have been utilising its future proof system using Motorola Android Moto G mobile devices on a Vodafone 4G network. From its introduction Hydraquip have benefitted and will continue to benefit from efficient work allocation, scheduling and processing data which is a key driver towards improving accuracy, productivity and substantially strengthening customer service relationships.

The online Job Manager will continuously benefit from regular enhancements and updates. Managing Director Duncan MacBain explains, “The Job Manager is a valuable development with its ability to process data in real time. It has given me the confidence to now dramatically increase the fleet size and spread our wings to become a truly national company delivering very competitive pricing and an improved service to our customers.” On the strength of the improved efficiency Hydraquip have 24 new service vans on order and are looking to proactively recruit nationwide during 2016.
